😍▶Dog's Throat· Kyiv26.09.2026, 15:03Absolutely the best fishing I've had in the last three weeks, they were biting incredibly all night long. Though we were catching some pretty average roach, the morning bite changed everything. A cautious and barely noticeable tap turned into a powerful and confident locomotive that only gave me a few seconds to ease off the drag. 10 minutes of fighting, a ton of tangled weeds and snagging on some wood debris, but still — that rare trophy dream of every angler made it to the bank. Tench, and not just any tench, but a 1.5kg wild beauty. There's nothing more to comment on — better just watch the video)
Caught the beauty on 3 maggots, Gamakatsu f22 #10 hook, 110cm leader. If you're going for trophy fish, these hooks are exactly what you need! Even a powerful fish like tench couldn't bend it.TenchBottom fishing316
😍Dnieper· Kyiv19.08.2026, 19:06An evening after vacation gifted me with such a trophy beauty of a chub on ultralight. On that current without a net the fight was really tough, but my tackle held up)Chub · 0,55 kgSpinning fishing335
😍Dnieper· Kyiv13.06.2026, 13:16Thunder, wind and me.. The weather must've been waiting all week for the moment I'd get out on the water 😅
Because of the crazy strong gusts, fishing was incredibly tough and besides landing one solid pike-perch, unfortunately I didn't get any other decent bites. All the panfish were super passive and wouldn't take anything no matter what, tried my whole arsenal of leaders and nothing worked. But the predators on the other hand were incredibly active and wild – had another good-sized pike attack and a couple of missed strikes. Man, pulling pike-perch on a tiny hook and thin leader is a special kind of pleasure. Rain is rain, thunder is thunder, but wind is just ****** , but fishing is fishing no matter what and the wind couldn't stop us from having some awesome moments. Threw most of the fish back, kept one for the panZander · 1,1 kgBottom fishing326
😍Pond· Kyiv Oblast08.06.2026, 13:29Man, it's been forever since I've caught crucians and finally managed to land some incredible beauties on the float. All the crucians are loaded with roe, but for some reason they haven't spawned yet. All the fish swam off to keep growingCrucian carpFloat fishing287
😍Crab Lake· Kyiv Oblast03.06.2026, 14:12An hour of evening cruising brought some nice little catches. The fish at the lake were putting on quite a show all evening – even carp and amur were jumping out of the water at 5+ kg, saw a big pike around 3+ kg hunting, but unfortunately my buddy's pike refused to take anything – neither soft plastics, nor crankbaits or spinners. Besides small perch, nothing bigger was biting at all.
Tried sitting with a float for a couple hours the next day, but went home with nothing – not a single bite.PerchSpinning fishing259
😍Dnieper· Kyiv02.06.2026, 13:41Finally the perch got active on the Dnieper too. Landed a couple of nice ones and had one more take in a few hours. Overall, I'd say that's a top result for a guy fishing peaceful waters 😂
Has anyone noticed if the predators have been more active or less active on the Dnieper lately?PerchSpinning fishing3111
😍Dnieper· Kyiv31.05.2026, 12:51Great fishing in not-so-great weather.. Despite the rain and constant downpour, and sand getting everywhere – literally everywhere – it didn't stop us from catching a crazy variety of fish. Even managed to land two red-listed species: a dace and a striped ruffe. Both were released right after photos. All told, I had 4kg in the net (half of which swam off to do their thing) plus another roughly 1.5-2kg released on the spot, which I reckon is a pretty solid result for bream this season. Used long rigs from 100cm up to 150cm – anything shorter and the smaller fish either refused or I'd get nothing but tiny specimens. Mix feed – Flagman Pro universal snickers + Flagman Grand Black Roach for bream with added color, plus Flagman Pro big fish (large fraction) + threw in about a third of Method paste + boiled millet, and for kicks I boiled some peas and used them to stuff half of each method ball (peas were cooked but kept firm) for extra large particles. The bait worked perfectly – caught a couple of solid 350-400g whitefish, nearly a kilo bream, plenty of bream hybrids and sub-bream in the 400-500g range.PerchBottom fishing309
😍Dnieper· Kyiv20.05.2026, 16:52The worst weather brings the best fish! Old angler wisdom 😉
Even the weather couldn't ruin the fishing—while lightning was raging and rain pouring down and everyone else was running home, I was calmly pulling in some beauties like these. Not all the fish I caught are in the photo because I was too lazy to get up all wet and throw them in the net for pictures. The little pike-perch and perch went back to grow up and make other anglers happy after their photo shoot. The fish were biting like crazy, every time the feeder hit bottom someone was already on the hook, literally every strike brought two fish. No trophies maybe, but the fishing was perfect in every way. Soaking wet and covered in sand, but in a great mood))BreamBottom fishing2815
