Absolutely the best fishing I've had in the last three weeks, they were biting incredibly all night long. Though we were catching some pretty average roach, the morning bite changed everything. A cautious and barely noticeable tap turned into a powerful and confident locomotive that only gave me a few seconds to ease off the drag. 10 minutes of fighting, a ton of tangled weeds and snagging on some wood debris, but still — that rare trophy dream of every angler made it to the bank. Tench, and not just any tench, but a 1.5kg wild beauty. There's nothing more to comment on — better just watch the video) Caught the beauty on 3 maggots, Gamakatsu f22 #10 hook, 110cm leader. If you're going for trophy fish, these hooks are exactly what you need! Even a powerful fish like tench couldn't bend it.
