Description
Fishing was absolutely on fire today. When I first got there the bite was slow, so I started throwing a microjig. The perch were responding really well and I got a bite right away, but the line snapped. Decided to switch to 3-inch shads on a jig head, and on the very first cast I hook into something solid—half a kilo on the line. Got another smaller one after that. Then I walked over to the dam where I got a decent strike from pike right at my feet, but all I got was a bitten-off tail. Crucian carp were doing their usual thing—hitting the cranberry wafters.
