😍Lake Dar· Kyiv Oblast13.07.2026, 16:44For Fisherman's Day, I didn't leave empty-handed. Wanted to brag about the biggest carp of my fishing career so far) Accidentally found this underrated spot, Lake Dar, thanks to @antondemeniukcarpfishing's TikTok video. By pure coincidence, they had one dock available for the day that happened to be Fisherman's Day) First time fishing with a flat feeder. On the recommendation of good people @qqukar, I picked up a couple of Flagman Squadron Flow Feeder 2025 3.6m 130g rods and reels the day before. I was filling my cart on the Flagman website but ended up buying from a physical store instead, and was pleasantly surprised by the holiday discount. So the flat method feeder technique was also new to me. I made two combinations: cranberry krill boilie + pineapple pop-up and tiger nut + sour pear pop-up. The thing was, according to the staff and other anglers, all the fish hang out on the opposite bank under the reeds (roughly 70-80m from the dock). With my rods and fishing skills, my max cast was only about 30m. I tried casting a marker weight a few times, but at that distance it felt like either mud or weeds. Or maybe I just don't know how to find the drop-off yet 😅 Decided to just keep casting and work on getting more distance and accuracy, hoping for some luck). And at 01:30, it came to me head first, not tail first. I fought it myself, and got help with the net. The fish put up a bit of a fight and broke the bow on the net. Got one more bream after that. There were probably other bites, but I'm not sure. First time using alarms and hangers, and they went off from wind gusts. Clearly still learning how to set them up properly. Takeaways: still lots to learn, and carp rods are going on my wishlist. About the location itself: A rural pond, 9 sectors. About 80m wide. Has carp, grass carp, tench, pike, perch, crucian carp, rudd, and bream. Fishing rules are in the photos. I'd love if there was always a spot available without advance booking, but even more than that, I want success and prosperity for the owners of this pond. So here's their Telegram: https://t.me/ozero_dar For context: the daily fishing rate (900 UAH/3 rods) includes a dock, a small gazebo by it, a grill, a carp mat (we ran short on space actually, but they have them), a small table under the gazebo to cook or lay out your stuff, plus an outdoor sink, bucket, and fish antiseptic. It's quiet and peaceful here, no loud parties. The night silence is broken only by the alarms and bait boats (which are allowed here, by the way). This is now my favorite spot. We got a few crucian carp in the morning, but we were after carp. The methods that worked before were failing today. When the sun shifted angle, we could see the snouts of some pretty decent fish about 10 cm below the surface. Clearly, with that scorching sun, they just didn't have enough oxygen at the bottom. We tried raising the bait, casting near where we could see them and slowly dragging toward where they were gathered, but those carp couldn't care less about our efforts. One of those frustrating moments when you can see the fish but it won't even look your way 🥲 The only bonus was the sturgeons. The owner stocked them sometime last fall, I think. I'm not too familiar with this species, but they also seemed inactive probably from the heat, and it was really a shame. The owner was actually relocating them, so we carried them to the neighboring pond. This place is more of a recreation base, so it gets crowded on weekends with lots of people — some swimming and jumping off a platform in one part of the pond. So if you want a more peaceful vibe, better to come on a weekday. Anyone know if there's a way to get fish interested when they're in this state? We stumbled upon this place completely by accident, but overall we're really happy with it! The water body is located relatively close to Kyiv. There are several lakes on the property, so I'm sharing a quick map of the location we explored: • Central pond: Looks like a fish hatchery. They didn't allow fishing here. • Right water body (from the entrance): Largest by area. According to the caretaker, this is where the biggest trophies swim. No wonder the lion's share of anglers with their full arsenal occupied this bank. • Left water body: Shallow dug pond, with snags in places. The fish here is smaller, but active. Our results and observations 👇 While most anglers were storming the big lake hoping for a trophy, we decided to go left - where the fish is smaller but it's quieter. In the end, not bad: caught some small carp and crucian carp. Our neighbors on the right had less luck. Many complained they didn't see a single bite all day. In my opinion, there are a few reasons: the day turned out to be incredibly hot, and the concentration of anglers per square meter of water at the right pond was too high. Cost and conditions: Fishing conditions here are quite reasonable and don't hit the wallet hard. Current rules and price list for this season I'm attaching in the photos to the post. Оратів · Вінницька08.09.2025, 16:30І поки всі хваляться щуками і окунями поділюся своїм уловом. Це про сома 🦈 Річка в Оратові невелика, але місцями розливається, утворюючи ділянки, що більше схожі на ставки. Два дні тому на одній такій ділянці був активний карась, а вчора на сусідній було лише 3 покльовки. Лише одна була реалізована, але ж яка екзотика попалась😁 Я дуже задоволена, бо карасями вже душу відвела, а в цей раз хотілося впіймати щось особливе. Сталося так як загадувала. Витягнула сома. СОМАА! 🤯 Якщо про коропа я хоч щось знала, то сом для мене справжня несподіванка. Навряд чи мої рибальські навички зіграли велику роль в цій справі, скоріше місячне затемнення, бо закидала на звичайного червʼяка, якого накопала під хатою і пригодовувала прикормкою для мирної риби (очікувала на коропа, взагалі-то)😅 Потім вже дізналась, що про цю частину річки ходять історії ніби тут живуть велетенські соми і русалки, які забирають до себе рибаків. А живуть вони в плавучих островах, які є на цій водоймі. Добре, що я дізналась про це після🙂 Заздрю рибалкам, які вміють гарно сфотографувати рибку (Для цього ж її треба взяти в руки😬). Хоч я вже спокійно поводжу себе з опаришами, але з таким видом риб ми ще не настільки близькі. Додому понесла в підсаку на плечі😂 Бонусом до звіту додаю фото пейзажу. The bottom was rocky and shallow right off the bank, so we stuck with a bottom rig. The fish went crazy for worms, but wouldn't touch maggots. Landed about a dozen over the course of the evening, they were biting pretty steady but we had a few get away. Had a good time overall. If you're picking up worms at the local shops, grab two portions. Had to pack up the rods early because we ran out of bait.Crucian carpBottom fishing234😍Рожни, озеро Підкова· Київська24.08.2025, 16:40Ловили на червоного червʼяка. Минулого разу добре йшло на кукурудзу і горох, але за півтора місяці в риби змінились вподобання. Найбільший улов за день (та і за все життя): Короп - 3,7 кг. Дзеркальний короп - 4 кг. Ще на тягали гарних карасів. На 3,7 сама вивудила і зловила в підсак, але його, мабуть, не перший раз за цей день впіймали. Якось легко дався. А з дзеркальним ще той бій був: глядачів зібралось, сусіди іншого підсака позичили, бо своїм було не витягти, з води також допомогли дістати. Донна ловля на вихідних заборонена. Маточне поголівʼя від 3 кг відпускається. Норма на один поплавок - 1 кг. Поверх норми: 250 грн/кг. Зробила для себе висновок, що треба новий підсак і наживку різних видів ще й побільше. Тепер хочу спробувати ловити хижака і нарешті впіймати щось варте на дикарі. Цього літа я занурилась у світ риболовлі з головою і зловила більше риби, ніж за все попереднє життя разом узяте. Я тільки на початку шляху, тому ще багато чого не знаю, але вже шалено цим захопилась! Цього разу була на Озері Підкова в Рожнах. Приїхали рано, але поки знайшли "те саме" місце, підібрали глибину і наживку, клювати почало ближче до вечора. До обіду ловився тільки мальочок. Було дуже смішно, коли сусіди тягали коропів і карасів одного за одним, а ми — виключно карасиків розміром з вишневий листочок 😅. Але добрі люди, мабуть, зглянулися над нами і поділилися місцем та прикормом (за що їм величезне дякую!). І ось він — мій перший в житті короп! Хоч і не дуже великий, але емоції були такі, ніби я виграла в лотерею! Вудочки купувала на ринку, і чесно кажучи, навіть не знаю, як вони правильно називаються (фото прикріплюю, можливо, хтось підкаже — буду дуже вдячна!). Оснастка була така: поплавок з подвійним гачком, наживка — горох з креветкою та кукурудза. Дуже чекаю на ваші поради! Може, поділитеся секретами успішного кльову або порадите, які снасті краще?
