😍▶Nemyshlianske Quarry· Kharkiv Oblast18 h agoCaught three perch, two of them on M5 craft cheater watermelon, finally figured out this lure. The first two bites were in one spot near a spring, lots of overhanging branches and the fish bite right at your feet, which makes it tough to set the hook and cast. Got three bites total on that lure, landed two of them. The third perch hit an M5 craft kozyavka green pumpkin. Overall solid session, been noticing way more spinners out here over the last couple weeks which is awesome.PerchSpinning fishing130😏Nemyshlyan Quarry· Kharkiv Oblast04.10.2026, 18:57No catch today, got one bite from a perch in a spot with tons of snags. Thought it was just another snag at first, took me like 5 seconds to realize it was actually a fish, but didn't get the hook set in time and it got away. No worries though, nature treated me to some gorgeous views and a few bites. Met this guy out there who makes his own silicone baits. Check out the second photo - those are the lures he gave me from the box. Got a bite on one of them actually, a gold worm. The guy himself caught a 15 cm pike on the same worm. So the baits work, he's got some interesting shapes, looks like popular silicone patterns, plus one shape I've never seen anywhere. Unfortunately the guy doesn't have a website or a shop, so you can't buy them, but he gives them away for free if you happen to run into him at the quarry. Some other folks fishing where I got my bite caught a zander and a couple perches. I also gave an old timer a tail spinner and a crankbait, and passed some fluorocarbon to a young guy who was just starting out and using steel leaders. Overall solid session, got my kicks. Only bummer was all the trash - I picked up what I could in a bag, but there's still a lot left. If you get a chance, maybe clean up a bit or at least don't litter. What really gets me is most of the garbage is lure and hook packaging, which is rough cause us anglers are out here enjoying the gifts nature gives us - the bites, the fish - and then we trash it, not respecting it.Spinning fishing180😍Seversky Donets20.09.2026, 15:52Really stoked, woke up at 4:00 AM, headed out to Zmiyivski cliffs, and we were in the boat by 6:00. Motored out to a wide stretch and the bites started coming. First from under the bank, then in the middle of the river where there used to be islands but now it's just meter deep with weeds where they hide. Ended up landing six fish total—four big ones, one medium, and one small. Had three more bites from small perch around 10 cm but they got away. All the landed fish and bites came on Flagman Hitomi 1.5 in UV color. Pretty impressed honestly, this is my first time on this section of the river, and I've never managed more than three perch on the Seversky before. This one's a trophy for this river—not my biggest perch overall, but definitely the biggest and feistiest one I've caught here. Without a boat though, you're not doing much—there's almost no access from the bank, and when there is, the fish are in the middle. Nine bites total, landed six. Got a nice pikeperch on a Flagman Hitomi UV. All the perch were hitting on m5 craft kozyavka. First perch struck in a pipe that was in the weeds, gave it a twitch for laughs and he took it. Third little perch grabbed it under a tree root, cast under the root thinking I was snagged on grass but nope, there's a perch 😯. Really loved it, this was my first pike-perch and I was so surprised by the spot and its size, because it hit at half a meter deep, right under my feet and sized like a finger. The map shows where I caught the pike-perch. Really aggressive fish, totally didn't expect it, had no hopes at all because I went three times to the more popular spots and didn't even get a nibble there. Caught this little guy on a crazy fish polaris 1.5 pink-yellow on a one-gram jig. Besides the pike-perch I caught a perch around 90-100 grams, it also fought back but not as hard, also hit right under my feet, bit on M5 craft kozyavka sized one inch on a one-gram jig. Dark green color. Got a crayfish as a bonus, hooked my sneaker with it and there was a crayfish inside, if you're curious what Nike sneakers bite on: Crazy fish polaris 1.5 motor oil.
