Озеро Кірпічка (Цегольня)

Lake Kirpichka is a small reservoir with unstable fish activity and serious physical obstacles for fishing. The water is heavily overgrown with aquatic vegetation, complicating casts and spinning; comfortable fishing spots are scarce. Pike can be caught occasionally on lures (largest specimen around 700 grams), catfish bite on bottom rigs, but sessions often end with complete silence. Fishing here depends on luck and weather conditions: some days deliver 4–5 stars, others nothing.

• Fish in early spring (April) or late autumn when pike are more active. Offset spinning with soft plastics shows better results in weed beds.
• Bring offset hooks and soft baits (twisters, swimbaits 2–4 inches) — traditional lures often snag on snags and vegetation.
• For catfish, try bottom rigs with worms or live bait. Activity windows are unclear, but night sessions are often unproductive.
• Arrive early and be ready for prime spots to be taken; focus on edges and snags near the bottom.
• Don't expect big trophies — pike max out around 1 kg. This is fishing for patient anglers, not guaranteed catches.
