Today we decided to check out a new spot with jigs. My buddy only landed one perch but I got 4. After that we headed to Sonyachne where I caught a bream, then we went after pike perch. That's when I spotted those thick-headed carp again and figured my buddy had a shot at it since he had a heavier rod and thicker line. I borrowed it from him and cast right into its mouth. He was fighting it for about a minute, then the knot snapped, but man did he get some awesome emotions out of it. After that we hit up Virka and crushed it with some ide 🔥
