Small roach are constantly on the hook, so it's better to use a few corn kernels at once. Sometimes you don't see the bite but the fish is already hanging on the hook. Caught a bream around 5:30 on the second pier to the right of the beach. A combo of strawberry-flavored corn and maggots did the trick. You can catch a decent amount of crayfish on a pole rod. Regular worms are the best bait. From 5:30 to 9:00 we managed to catch about 20 crayfish, though a local kid fishing by hand next to us caught around 40 in the same timeframe. On the downside, there are a lot of nets in the water and the bottom is heavily overgrown in places, which sometimes makes fishing tricky. Overall though, the trip turned out pretty successful. On the neighboring piers around 6:00 in the morning, anglers pulled out a carp weighing about 6 kg, so there's definitely trophy fish there. The locals also mentioned that in the "Lilies" area (you can only fish there from a boat) tench bite really well. Regular worms work best.
