Lake Somine is a deep Volynian lake (over 50 m in places) with potential for trophy pike, but results are highly unstable. The shoreline is heavily overgrown with reeds, making access difficult but creating good conditions for predatory fish. Озеро Сомине — одна з найцікавіших водойм Волині карстового походження. Відоме своїми глибинами: при середній глибині близько 4 м окремі ділянки сягають понад 50 м. Через особливий рельєф дна та карстові провали водойма має репутацію загадкового й дуже незвичного озера. Для рибалки водойма цікава великою різноманітністю риби: тут водяться щука, окунь, лящ, лин, карась, короп, краснопірка та інші види. Береги в багатьох місцях зарослі очеретом, тому найкомфортніше досліджувати озеро саме з човна. З берега ловити теж можна, але переважно в районі пляжів та відкритих ділянок. Сомине цінують не лише за риболовлю, а й за атмосферу: чиста вода, поліська природа, тиша та красиві краєвиди роблять цю водойму місцем, куди хочеться повертатися знову.
