figured out something really interesting today - turns out the shallower your float depth, the better your chances at catching roach, but the deeper you go the more likely you'll get ide, which is what I prefer. maybe everyone already knew this but it was news to me. spent about 3 hours out on the water. the fish were super sluggish. the bottom rig didn't produce anything, just a couple bites max and not very interested ones either, but the float was constantly on the move
