😏Lake Hornyak· Kirovohrad Oblast11.08.2026, 23:00We covered almost all the Novomykolaivski ponds from early morning. Despite nice weather, the bite was pretty much non-existent, except for landing a decent pike under the HVF dam. Only towards the end of the session on Hornyak did we manage to catch a perch on a 2-inch slug, plus as a bonus we pulled up a crayfish trap full of crayfish :)PerchSpinning fishing281😍Katerynivskyi Quarry (Metalurg Recreation Area)· Kirovohrad Oblast02.08.2026, 14:03Got to the water early in the morning, and at first I was pretty disappointed — most of the pond was choked with algae. But I stuck with it and kept working different baits across the water. After I switched to a Jaxon spinner, I managed to hook into a pike right under the little bridge. Put up a solid fight, too — she kept heading back toward the bank and into the reeds and under the bridge. After a long battle, I finally got her onto shore. Used both regular feeders and flat feeders. Had some real high hopes for today's fishing, but unfortunately after half a day on the water, we managed to catch about a dozen small crucians, like in the first photo, plus one roach. Fished for about an hour, hour and a half — managed to cover most of the water during that time. Got one pike in the middle of the pond, had a few bites and one perch came off my spinner. Overall I was pretty happy with the session, though I was hoping for a bit better action today. Over almost half a day on this water body, I managed to catch only one perch, which I released right away — let it grow. At the end there was a small carp that came on, but unfortunately I couldn't bring it to shore. Maybe this was my season closer this year. The coming weeks promise even colder weather, so I'm hoping that in the new fishing season there will be more trophy fish and good emotions from the time spent)PerchSpinning fishing242😍Ingul River· Kirovohrad Oblast05.11.2025, 18:27Today's fishing was awesome — managed to land a pike weighing 1.3 kg. Took it right under the bridge near the reeds on a Flagman Switch Blade 8g spinnerbait. The fight was short but sweet.
