Prut😄Prut· Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast18.08.2025, 18:55Quick report from the Carpathians, plus my first impressions of the Favorite Arena Stream 562SUL 1-5g. Unfortunately, the weather and my vacation pace didn't allow me to meet the trout, but I was happy to meet any fish willing to meet me) The Favorite Arena Stream 562SUL 1-5g left me impressed. Not to go on too long — this spinning rod is definitely going to be with me and mine! For my needs, it turned out to be a really cool and versatile tool that works like a Swiss watch even at its lowest test range! Vacation in the Carpathians + fishing with the Favorite Arena Stream 562SUL 1-5g = satisfaction with the cherry on top! Caught about 20 of these little but feisty fish))) Thanks to Ivan Samoilov Favorite Fishing and the "Ibis" shop for providing the gear!Minnow255Tail Spinner Showdown😍Tail Spinner Showdown17.08.2025, 08:45Savage Gear Fat Tail 9g Perch VS Select Sonic 7 and 10g color 13 This was my personal duel between two of my favorite tail spinners. More precisely, between my beloved Savage Gear and the new Select Sonic, which has already won my heart. I cast each lure at every spot and made 6 retrieves with each. Why exactly 6? I consider the tail spinner one of the most versatile lures out there—you can fish with it in the bottom layers, middle layers, and even near the surface (that's three casts). Plus three more with different retrieves (stop and go, steady with twitches, and jigging) So what did my duel show? Here's what happened: First Pike on the very first cast with Select Sonic 7g... powerful! Then Savage Gear Fat Tail 9g opens its account, also with a Pike. Score: 1:1 And then... Select Sonic tempts a nice Perch and two more Pikes... Score: 4:1 And the final point that I decided to end my duel on—a Pike bite on the Savage Gear Fat Tail 9g. With a score of 4:2, the young fighter Select Sonic 10g in color #13 wins this duel. Fishing lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes. Youth beat experience... 😉 But, to be completely honest, the Savage Gear Fat Tail 9g is that tail spinner that never lets you down, never has, and never will!!! It always delivers stable and solid results!!! My competitions don't end here—there will definitely be more. And to you, my dear friends from Viskaart, I recommend checking out the video of this fishing session on my YouTube channel DShFishing. And may troubles and storms not bring you bad weather in life! Good luck! Today in the red corner of the ring - Deps Balisong Minnow 130SP 35 VS In the blue corner of the ring - TRIDENT VA Danger SR 130SP VA016D This is only the first round…! But in this round the victory with a score of 2:1 went to - TRIDENT VA Danger SR 130SP VA016D More to come… With Respect, Dmitry Sharaburin (DShFishing)PikeSpinning fishing234Martyshiv😍Martyshiv· Kyiv27.07.2025, 08:17Charged for success! Two lures, two different vibes, two pike, though honestly there were three pike… On this hot summer day, I decided to run a little personal competition. A battle between two of my new acquisitions: Megabass X-80 TRICK DARTER FA GILL vs Jackall Squad Minnow 80SP 82mm 9.7 g Mat Tiger Even though these lures had completely different colors, the pike's reaction showed they were appealing not just to me. I was the first to bite on their incredible color range, and for good reason. Megabass X-80 TRICK DARTER FA GILL vs Jackall - this is a real trickster, and I'll do a separate post about what it does in the water and how to work it. This lure totally blew me away. It's a true work of lure art. Jackall Squad Minnow 80SP 82mm 9.7 g Mat Tiger - also a unique and self-sufficient lure. Figuring out retrieves for it is pure pleasure, because it responds to every twitch. It transmits its action to your hand, casts beautifully, and the color is eye-catching))) These two beauties became my friends! I'm absolutely thrilled with them, and the pike eagerly biting them all evening proved my point. Megabass X-80 TRICK DARTER FA GILL - was a birthday gift from my friend Maksym Dyachek, a pike fishing expert at the Ibis store, and he wrote on the box - "Charged for success". Couldn't have said it better! Wishing everyone good vibes and exciting moments from their favorite hobby🤌🫂🎣 Respectfully, Dmitro Sharaburin DShFishingSpinning fishing357Tuggin'😍Tuggin'· Kyiv25.07.2025, 14:52Summer, July - rain! Yesterday after work, I decided to dedicate a session to a crankbait that just recently landed in my hands - the TRIDENT VA Danger SR 130SP VA112. It was brand new, never seen water before. First thing I did was check out its action right at my feet - all kinds of twitching animations, steady retrieve, stop & go, diving, side-to-side action, rolling... you name it - and picked the most enticing retrieve for it. Spent about 30 minutes on that. After that, wading out as far as my waders allowed, I started working this crankbait along the first drop-off with some grass cover. The lure was diving to about 1.5-1.8 meters on an aggressive twitch, which was pretty much the max depth for that area. But it wasn't touching bottom. And despite a strong chop and a nasty cross wind on the lake, the lure was casting like a dream and I could get some solid distance. First pike hit after two hours of fishing. This one was around 1kg. But as I was reeling her in and about to grab her, she went full backflip and spit the lure. Frustrating, but it told me the presentation was spot-on and tempting, and the pike loved the crankbait. Heading back to where I started, I spotted this really interesting spot I'd never fished before - it was tucked in the weeds. The waders came in handy, and wading into this beautiful, promising spot, I made two casts and got a solid strike on the third one... My Favorite Shard TZ SRDTZ-702MH 2.13m 7-28g rod started doing gymnastics, and the drag was singing some real dramaturgy.😂 What a fight that was... with this pike, she put up a true battle, and the crankbait was pretty much lodged in the spotted jaws. The adrenaline was pumping, couldn't let go - a pike around 2kg was in my hands posing for the camera. After a quick photo session, the pike went back to her realm, and I was left with the emotions and some footage that'll be hitting my YouTube channel DShFishing real soon. Started fishing at 4:30 PM, wrapped up at 8:30 PM. Thirty minutes on testing, so three solid hours to figure out this crankbait and put it to work. Got the rush, caught and released some fish, dialed in the lure, knocked out this report! That's all for today, but there's definitely more coming! Catch you next time! Work, work, work… routine, routine, routine… Stop!!! (Internal monologue) - But what about the evenings? Does someone take them from you, even if you have two, three hours… or even just one! - But I'm exhausted, I want to lie down, watch a movie, and so on! - But what about Spring… and it's already almost finished… - I'm getting ready! I grab a small bag that I once won in a Viskaart giveaway, two boxes: one with metal lures and one with plastic ones, grab my delicate trout spinning rod Nories T3 Ambitious Craque AC61L 6'1" / 1.86m 0.3-3g, Daiwa 20 Luvias LT 2500 reel, YGK X-Braid #02 line, contact lenses and polarized sunglasses are a must. It's almost 19:00 on my watch, I've got about two hours tops for fishing. I start with a micro-spoon Nories Masukurouto Sofia 22mm 1.2g #091 and almost immediately a powerful strike and the first beautiful Perch is hooked. I release the perch and keep experimenting with the spoon…, but after 5-7 casts it goes quiet. I switch to a small Ratlin Vib YouZuri 5g, from about the same spot, and on the first cast a sporty Pike is hooked, I release it and move on. I reach an interesting beach, throw the spoon again and another perch… one, two, three… and then the strikes start but I can't figure out why the fish isn't getting hooked, I switch to a Rige 50s crankbait and a sporty Zander is on the line… Then I understood who was hitting my micro-spoon))) I managed to catch a couple more Zanders on the crankbait. I saw the sunset, I met the fish, I saw a flock of herons flying by, I listened to the chorus of frogs and breathed in the evening freshness, and I also walked 10,000 steps - which is very beneficial for your health! I got my emotions, rested my soul, improved my health, lifted my mood, and fatigue just melted away. Conclusion! If you have to choose between going fishing or just lying on the couch… Read the answer above⬆️ Hugs to everyone🫂 and see you again on all my channels, almost everywhere on social media, and everywhere it's the same name DShFishing! Managed to land about a dozen on my favorite small lures—Rigge Flat 50s, Tsu Yoki Itteki 44t, Flagman Qant 43 sp. As soon as the sun hid behind the clouds, the perch vanished without a trace. Then came a bunch of random lure changes, trying different retrieves to tempt the predator with something unusual, searching different depths, but nothing worked. The fish either went deep or just shut its mouth. The rain started again and I had to call it a day, but I've made plans with the perch—we'll meet again real soon. Greetings to all Kyivans on Kyiv Day! Peace and harmony to all! Some incredible contrast of colors, some special air. It's true unity with nature. You need to see it once, feel it - to fall in love forever and wait with excitement for the next meetings… Video from this fishing is already on my YouTube - DShFishing. Turned out to be a very atmospheric and beautiful city fishing with lures. But man, it was an incredibly interesting and useful meeting. Igor develops lures, and Andrii Veduta is the designer — this is a Ukrainian brand that's about to make serious waves in the fishing scene. I got to see cutting-edge designs that nobody's laid eyes on yet, and I was blown away by the approach, the dedication, the love and philosophy that goes into this product. Maybe it sounds like I'm selling something right now, but there's way more to it — it's more like pride in what's ours, Ukrainian-made, and I can't hide it. I'm equally proud of the Viskaart developers because they've got something special and it's ours!!! We talked from 7 to 11:15 PM, then I headed home. After diving deep into Trident lure-building, I spent half the night going through the test baits they gave me, and the next evening after work I rushed out to try them in action. And what? Results didn't keep me waiting. From under the bushes on a Trident Range 80 sp sr 8.6g, after a solid strike, a decent pike came to the net. Since the lure is super responsive — just a light twitch and it fires up, does those side-to-side moves, with fantastic rolling action... The pike appreciated it and was quickly sent back to her domain. That evening there was one more really solid bite but unfortunately the fish got off. Of course, I didn't have time that evening to thoroughly test all the baits I got for evaluation in the water. But I can say for sure — these lures catch fish, the colors and action are fantastic, they compete with the Japanese stuff (and the price is better). I'm confident this company has a big future, if only because the first thing the developer asked me was what I think about the lures, what needs work, what I liked and didn't like. I'll be keeping close tabs on the brand's development and actively participating in testing new lures and the ones I got — stay tuned for reports. The fishing was short but productive and inspiring! Thanks for your attention! Respectfully, Dmytro Sharaburin DShFishingPikeSpinning fishing302
