Sharing some of my nano-jig experience with you guys! 🎣 I always wanted to try nano-jigging, but never seemed to find the time, plus it didn't really seem like my thing - catching tiny perch. But now I've got free time on my hands, and getting out for a full day of fishing is pretty tough. So I figured I'd find a fishing format where I could head out after work for a couple hours and get maximum thrills. Golden Catch just dropped their new Cascade spinning rod line. Decided to give it a try and share my impressions with you guys. From day one, this rod really stole the title of "value for money" from everything else I've got. Throw it in the car with a box of lures - and you're ready to fish whenever you get a free minute. The biggest rush with nano-jig is the adrenaline from feeling the strike. Even a perch at 100 grams bends the rod into a pretzel and gives you a massive hit of adrenaline 😄 And when you hook into something more serious - that's just insanePerchSpinning fishing376WinFish😍WinFish· Ternopil Oblast13.04.2026, 21:15Came out today with the boys to @winfish.ua and was debating whether to bring my net from @goldencatch.ua since we were just going for a casual fish — figured we'd just chill. But something told me: don't be lazy, bring everything you need… Walked the water — looked pretty ordinary. The lures from @m5craft and @upstreambaits did their thing as usual, crushing pike around 1–2 kg — they just love 'em, simple as that! Then I hit this interesting spot — first cast and I'm onto a pike around 2 kg. Few more casts with nothing — and suddenly I feel a gentle tap on the rod tip. I'm thinking: another pike… Set the hook — and I realize something's off: the rod's bending different. Few more seconds — and it clicks: this is gonna be good 😄 Drag's screaming, rod's doubled over, but it's handling it perfectly! Then my buddy runs over with that same net I was "debating" about… And on the first try — trophy in the net! So that casual fishing trip turned into something pretty unforgettable 😎 So remember lads, always fish for the trophy and don't be lazy about bringing what you need 😉 Good luck out there! 🎣PikeSpinning fishing6530Nice Pond😍Nice Pond· Ternopil Oblast21.12.2025, 16:44A lot of anglers hide their lures, thinking it's some kind of secret that nobody else knows about 🤣 I don't really care about that - it's simple, because besides the lures, technique matters, and location, and the angler's own skill! Overall, you can see all the lures I fish with in the photo and I'm really happy that our Ukrainian manufacturers can make lures that work so well on our fish! Today we had some great sport fishing for perch, and we even caught a pike around a kilo as a bonus! Today we mainly worked with Kazyavka and Cheater from M5Craft and Fusion Nano from UpStream! We got there and ran into strong wind that wouldn't let us cast the lure where we thought the pike should be! So we had to figure out how to tempt the ones that were already "pressured" and provoke them into biting. We tried different colors and lure types, but white color worked out - and I'm not even a believer in white, I'd say I don't believe in it at all! Good thing I had @upstreambaits Fusion and @m5craft Jib in those colors in my box. The 2.5" Fusion with its rolling action helped "extract" overpressured fish from close range, while the Jib worked really well at distance and let me land a couple of solid pike at longer distances. Lure color works just as much as shape and its rolling action. So I definitely recommend having white color with you on the water, because one day it'll save your fishing! The right location picked: @winfish.ua The right bait picked: @m5craft The right gear picked: @goldencatch.ua Right now pike are in a very passive state and to have a solid session you gotta put in some serious effort, and it's important to have solid gear, cause you never know when that trophy will bite! In this case everything came together and a 2 kg pike ended up in the net!
