Today me, @sho_po_rubi and @skoropadoleg heroically set out at 5 in the morning to @korelychi.lake to get a good fight with some big pike. We got there and ran into strong wind that wouldn't let us cast the lure where we thought the pike should be! So we had to figure out how to tempt the ones that were already "pressured" and provoke them into biting. We tried different colors and lure types, but white color worked out - and I'm not even a believer in white, I'd say I don't believe in it at all! Good thing I had @upstreambaits Fusion and @m5craft Jib in those colors in my box. The 2.5" Fusion with its rolling action helped "extract" overpressured fish from close range, while the Jib worked really well at distance and let me land a couple of solid pike at longer distances. Lure color works just as much as shape and its rolling action. So I definitely recommend having white color with you on the water, because one day it'll save your fishing!
