Petrynskyi Pond is a lake with highly variable fish activity. Most successful sessions fall on spring and early winter; perch bites consistently, pike-perch and chub demand patience and proper lure selection. Clear evenings before spawning often deliver the best results. However, prepare for slow days — activity depends on weather, season, and finding the right approach for local fish. Poaching and silt in certain areas reduce potential.

• Focus on small spinners (1.6–3 g) with shad tails and crankbaits around 2 inches; Reins, Crazy Fish Polaris, Flagman and custom soft plastics show consistent results
• Target dense spots — tree roots, pipes, thick weeds; many catches happen exactly there
• Fish early morning or evening (especially April–May); midday often sees little action
• Come prepared with a solid lure arsenal — one rarely works two days in a row; experimentation is part of the game
