Водойма насправді нелегка. Риба тут є, але впіймати її не так просто.
В основному тут полюють на щуку і то зазвичай лише з човна. Дно гарне й чисте, обірвати тут свої приманки доволі тяжко. Середня глибина 2- 2,5 метри - на плесах. По центру ставу йде русло ріки Усті - там відповідно глибше - до 4-х. Також є кілька ям до 6-ти метрів. Дно - хрящувате, на плесах - мул.
