Southern Bug River dam shows potential but yields are highly variable. Of 11 reports, 5 received 5/5 ratings (mostly July, spinning for perch and pike-perch), but 4 reports scored 2/5 citing weak activity. Fish are present, but bites depend on season, time of day (evening looks better), and possibly weather conditions. Bottom fishing and winter techniques also showed success in isolated cases, but insufficient data for reliable conclusions.

• Focus on evening hours (from 19:00), especially in July — this is where the most aggressive perch and pike-perch bites were recorded.
• Spinning with soft plastics and tail spinners showed the most success; try different sizes and colors if your first choice doesn't work.
• Prepare for potentially strong July bites — but also have a backup plan in case activity is weak; seasonality clearly affects results.
• Bottom fishing with corn and mackerel works for carp; winter fishing with jigs and maggots catches crucian carp and roach — try this if spinning doesn't produce.
