Річка Вовк є правою притокою Південного Бугу. Завдяки місцевій греблі ця ділянка набула характеру водосховища зі спокійною течією. Між старим та новим мостами утворилася глуха затока (у народі — «апендицит»). Її берегова лінія густо заросла водяною рослинністю, а в самій акваторії є чимало закоряжених ділянок. Це створює ідеальні укриття, де активно тримається хижа риба: переважно окунь, рідше — судак. Крім того, популярною локацією залишається безпосередньо сама гребля, де постійно можна зустріти рибалок, які успішно ловлять найрізноманітнішу рибу.
