Lake Kyrylivske

One word - a mess… Came out to check on how the lake's doing, haven't been here since early summer: the smell of petroleum products is still hanging around in some spots, chemical stains drifting along the shore, piles of contaminated reeds lying on the bank… 😕 There are fish, they're even showing some activity, you can see signs of bigger fish breaking the surface here and there, but there's barely any pleasure in fishing in these conditions. Unfortunately, it's gonna take a lot more effort to fully clean up the damage from all those petroleum products getting into the water. ♻️
