Fishing reconnaissance 🫡 Noticed there are no spin fishing reports in the app for this water body - gotta fix that! 🎣 Headed straight from work with Olivia 0.3-2.5g paired with Olivia 2000s to hunt for perch. Unfortunately grabbed a spool with #0.2 line instead of #0.13 by mistake, so it was a bit awkward. During the walk landed 5 perch on nano jigs, one of which was pretty solid even on such delicate gear, and..... a bluebird 😄 Second such "close encounter" with them in a short time. Bird released and went about its business 👌 My impressions of the lake: it makes sense to fish here at a leisurely pace, but don't expect anything special and probably not worth making a special trip. Throughout the fall I'll swing by here once more on the way to work with more sensitive tackle to scout the bottom, report coming 😉
