Description

Weather was decent enough today — cold, calm, with a bit of rain here and there — but the bite was absolutely nonexistent. Started off with a tiny perch on the float right at the beginning, and near the end I'm pretty sure I landed a crucian carp. First time catching one, first time seeing one too, so I could be wrong about the ID. The regular carp didn't show up, but hey, I got another species checked off the list on my phone notes. Planning to hit the river again next time instead of the pond — it's been disappointing me lately. Fish on, everyone!!!
