Description

New rod test went great 🔥 Decided I needed to swap out my Kenshin before fall for something that makes more sense to me. Went with the Azura Safina Light Game S85ML 4-18g. Really wanted a longer stick in the light or medium/light range. Got a feel for the new spinning rod super quick during the test. Really impressed with how it works on the bottom end of the range — you don't feel the bottom much, but with thin line you can totally control the tension and animate your lure near the bottom no problem 😉 The lures I managed to test felt completely different to me, in a good way. Nice bonus was it responded really well to small crankbaits. Completely happy with the purchase 😄 Caught 8 perch, and even though they were small, with 5g on the end I had no trouble feeling the bite. Still need to upgrade the line and maybe find a reel that's better balanced for it.
