The name of the water
Prut River
Description
Tested out my new setup today: Azura '24 Fortran 83ML (2.51 m, 22g test)
Daiwa 23 Fuego LT 3000-C reel
YGK X-Braid Upgrade X8 Pentagram #0.8 line
Was targeting asp. Had three sessions on the Uzhhorod spillway, but no bites materialized. Chatted with another angler and got some solid intel — there's pike here. Switched tactics and got 10 strikes, two landed, one got off, a few missed bites, and two tails bitten clean off my soft plastics.
More to come...
Good luck to all!
