The so-called stone bridge spot on Komsomolske Lake in Zolochiv

Decided to head out for float fishing in the evening after a heavy morning rain, targeting a small strait connecting the spawning zone to the main lake body—the channel's got depths up to 1.5 meters. Was fishing with two match rods: a Flagman Force Rank Pole 500, and another rod I picked up on Temu at 5.4 meters—super light, compact, and soft, bends under its own weight, probably designed for hera fishing. On the Flagman Force Rank Pole 500 I had Flagman S-Power Hook Line New Clear 0.18mm/4.5kg (9.9 lb) mainline, a feather float, 0.2g shot, and a leader made from Flagman S-Power Hook Line New Clear 0.14mm/2.6kg (5.7lb) with a GURZA KEIRYU N°14 saddle K-1006-014 hook (wire diameter ø:0.36mm, weight w:0.012g). The Temu rod had slightly different rigging since it's softer and better absorbs fish runs, allowing thinner lines. Setup was: Flagman S-Power Hook Line New Clear 0.14mm/2.6kg (5.7lb) mainline, pencil float, 0.4g shot plus 0.2g micro-shot, and a leader from Flagman S-Power Hook Line New Clear 0.10mm/1.4kg (3lb) with a Fanatik FK-1118 GARDON/Roach N°14 hook—it was on this delicate setup that I landed a carp. I connect mainline to leader using loop-to-loop knots without swivels or quick-links. Got photos of all my spots and gear attached above (everything except the rubber stops in the pics). Released all the fish—had a great session, especially loved playing that carp on such a soft, light rod with delicate rigging.
