Today's report is about more than just fishing—it's about respecting nature. 🏕️ After the ecological disaster at Lakes Kyrylivske and Yordanske, I headed out to Lake Verbne with a micro jig. The perch were pretty active and gave me plenty of solid bites, and one striped beauty turned out to be a real stunner for the day (pic 2). The catch isn't record-breaking, but these trips are exactly what charge you up emotionally and give your soul a chance to rest. But what stayed with me most wasn't the fishing—it was what some so-called "anglers" leave behind. At one spot that gave me the best vibes, I picked up a bag of trash (I always carry a few garbage bags and cloth gloves for this): cans, bottles, fishing gear packaging—none of this should stay on the shore, especially if you want to come back and find peace out in nature in the future. I want to say this to everyone: take your trash with you. And even better, if you can, grab a few bottles or bags that aren't even yours. It takes just a few minutes, but through these small actions, our waters stay clean and beautiful, because it really does depend on us first and foremost. A clean water body—that's the best trophy for all of us. 🎣🌿
