Brought two rigs for today's fishing: float and ultralight. Started with float fishing on Lake Jordanske, managed to catch around 40 fish of various species in 3 hours on mastyrka and maggots, mostly big roach. Then decided to scout for perch along Obolonsky Prospect around the lake. Got one unrealized bite in the 'give me back my rod' format. But despite everything, I gotta say I'm really disappointed with the state of the water body compared to last year — the number of fishing spots has halved: reeds and huge water vegetation growth everywhere. Decided to move to Lake Kyrylivske and fish the spots where I'd seen pike activity during previous outings. The pike were active but wouldn't take the baits, though managed to get a few perch bites on fairly large active silicone lures, managed to bring only one to shore ('a walk' on the bank) (1 photo). Overall happy with the fishing 😀
