Based on my experience from previous trips, I honestly wasn't expecting to catch anything at this lake. But this time things turned out completely different! The perch took a Mepps Aglia Fluo Chartreuse #2, and the pike perch went for a Keitech Crazy Flapper 2".
Didn't think I'd actually land a pike perch - put up a solid fight!
All in all, the best fishing is the kind where you don't expect to catch anything) 🎣
