Description

First catfish of my life! 🥳 With light tackle the emotions were just incredible! 🔥 Today I was trying to retrain myself to fish perch on open hooks instead of offset, didn't catch regular perch even though there were plenty of passive bites, but I did get some bycatch in the form of a decent "clown," a couple of hooked roaches and of course a catfish that was more than surprising. There are lots of snags, but I think I've pretty much figured out fishing with open hooks, though there's still work to do 👍 *catfish weight is approximate based on length/weight charts and my own feel 🙃
