Basic Saturday chill at my favorite spot. The weather was pretty rough with strong winds and even stronger gusts, despite the forecast saying 16 degrees. The wind was so bad you couldn't even tell if the fish were biting or if it was just the gusts. Overall the fish were hitting well, though mostly palm-sized specimens and live bait, except for three nice roaches at 200-260 grams and a monster run on live bait. Tested out some new Flagman Pro cinnamon flavor in medium black fraction plus Flagman Pro snickers mixed with millet and universal molasses. The bait didn't perform as well as I expected, either because of the weather or it's still too early for sweets, but spicy mix baits seem to be working better. Used the shortest rigs I had that day at 50cm, while my buddies were fishing even shorter at 30-40cm and getting bites just fine. The bait so far is standard maggot plus foam in different combinations.
