Another attempt at catching spring pike-perch, but came up empty again. The pike-perch was a bit active, even gave the live bait a good thrashing, but wouldn't commit. The white fish, on the other hand, reminded me of its presence almost every minute—caught about 20 of them, all of which made it to the photo shoot and swam back home. I was using Flagman pro snicker with millet and molasses for bream, pretty much every bite was 1-2 maggots + 1 pinkies, with a 65-80cm leader. More and more hunters for asp are showing up along the bank, but personally didn't see anyone land one.
