Buzhok Canal
Description
Hey everyone!
Today I was planning to fish for pike using live bait on tip-ups, but my live bait was just tiny crucian carp, so I decided to swing by Buzhok first to catch about ten small perch, then head out to the canal.
On my first cast I got a nice perch (first photo), then in about 30 minutes I caught another twenty or so perch (second photo).
Around noon I set up tip-ups on the canal and by three in the afternoon I only got one bite, and it was a miss.
Decided not to push my luck, took down the tip-ups and was back at Buzhok around four.
Managed to catch another dozen or so perch before dark (second to last photo).
Balancers and small jigs were working.
That's how my roaming fishing session went today 😁.
