Description
Had some free time and headed straight to the lake. This is my second trip out to this spot in a week. Last time the pike were silent, but finally this time at least one took the bait. A nice little pike hit right under the bank with a solid strike. The heavy vegetation is still a pain though — every cast you end up pulling in a bunch of leaves stuck to your hooks. For some reason there weren't any more bites after that, even though they should be hitting more actively by now. Released the pike back home.
