Description
Back to hunting pike-perch. Got to the fishing spot early today like usual, was on the river by 4 pm. Literally on the third or fourth cast something felt like it was hooked, at first I thought it was a snag, pulled up the feeder. Gave the feeder to an old man who was fishing nearby. Moved around from spot to spot, only found steep banks. All I could do was wait for the sun to set and the water to pick up. But the water was barely moving, you could only see it rising along the shore, and the weight wasn't drifting. Still, on one of the casts I thought it was a snag again, but nope. When I was about 20 meters from the shore something started putting up a fight. Unfortunately I hooked the pike-perch unfairly, got it in the side. Snapped a photo and let it go quick so it could swim home and grow. About 20 minutes later there was another good bite, but the pike-perch left only teeth marks and a torn lure.
