Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska
Description
Decided to try predator fishing on Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska for the first time a few days ago. Hit the water from 12:00 to 20:00 looking for perch and pike-perch, but unfortunately only small gobies were biting.
Caught and released roughly 10 small gobies. FishUp Tanta 1.5" worked best — other lures were completely ignored.
As a bonus, got sunburned shoulders and a couple of good knots in my nerves :)
The bottom is very rocky with a lot of shells (mussels), causing constant snags and line breaks. Using a drop weight saved the day — it threaded through the rocks better and got stuck way less often.
