Description
Opened up for crucian carp today. I was on the river at 6.00, and didn't see the first crucian bite until after nine. Before that small perch and perch were biting. The crucian started taking only on worm at first, then only on maggot, and after 16.00 stopped biting altogether. Result - a dozen crucian carp, about five roach and about 30-40 perch and ruffe. All the fish except 5 crucian carp (which went to me for dinner) were released. Tight lines to all!!!
