Buzhok River

Description

Fished from 10:00 to 18:00 today. Spent the first half of the session on a float rod, prepped what looked like a solid spot, and waited almost three hours, but only caught some small perch and ruffe, nothing else. Got fed up with that, switched to a spinning rod, and started actively searching for fish. Things picked up a bit then — even caught a crucian carp on a crankbait, and it hit hard with one of the treble hooks right in its mouth. All in all, landed one carp on the spinner, about a dozen small perch, and five or so similar pike-perch. All the fish swam off to grow bigger. Tight lines!!!
