Description

Fished from 7:00 to 11:30. Was using a jigging spoon. The perch were active in the morning, though I had to find them first — got my first bite at hole #21. At that spot, about 2 by 2 meters, I landed 13 perch in ten minutes, and had another nice one slip off and fall back into the hole — the water giveth, the water taketh away 😂. Then it got back to grinding it out, worked my way through over thirty more holes and convinced three more perch to bite. 🤪 Ended up with 16 perch total, weighing 1.86 kg. Had maybe ten more fish that got away. All the fish were hitting right on the bottom. Weather was fantastic — after sunrise it warmed up pretty quick (though it was -10 when we got there), actually got hot. All the best!!!
