The name of the water

The Pull

Description
This fishing trip started with a message from my buddy: "Dmitry, I don't know about others, but I'm waiting for Rudra Parade 3😉" I'm a guy who loves a good adventure and doesn't need much convincing!) And when it comes to fishing, even feeling under the weather and bad circumstances quickly improve, and a strong wind with changing weather, which usually gets in the way, starts to actually help...)) That's exactly what happened this day—or more like, this evening. I headed out fishing around 2:30 PM and got to the water by 3:00 PM. Time was tight since fall moves fast, so I got straight down to business...) Even though I'd planned to start with the Rudra, I still paid attention to the spot for some experimenting. Plenty of lures hit the water in that first hour, but I couldn't get a single bite. Then the O.S.P. RUDRA 130 SP H-04 took center stage. For the sake of experiment, I decided to work the same spots where I'd thrown other lures with no luck. First cast—and after the lure dived and I worked it (two twitches, pause), on a pause a little longer than I usually do, I got the first strike. It was a solid hit, but the prize... was about the size of three Rudras...)(or two and a half, to be exact). I released the pike right away, but I got the info I needed about its appetite for the day. I moved to a few more spots and—boom—another hard strike. This time, a pretty decent result. A pike just over a pound bit. The strike happened on the retrieve. I think the pike was chasing the lure, and when it started to escape, she got scared of losing the meal and carefully grabbed one hook of the rear treble. But despite a decent fight and a few jumps (cork screws), which she tried to pull off "for the camera," I managed to haul her onto the bank and get some photos and video. Then after the show, the pike headed back to her world. I managed a few more casts, and the sun dipped below the horizon, it got pretty cool, and things started to get dark. That's when I decided to call it a day, having gotten everything I wanted from this evening and then some. Looked down from the hill at the beautiful evening city, said goodbye to the lake, and thanked this moment, promising myself I'd be back! My gear for this session: Rod - St.Croix Legend Elite ES70MHF2 3/8-3/4 10.5 - 21.5 Reel - Daiwa 19 Certate G LT 3000D Braid - Daiwa Morethan 1.2 Fluoro - Sunline Vi-Hard 0.52 Respectfully, Dmitry Sharaburin DShFishing

@Олег 🇺🇦 Олеже, щиро дякую за добрі слова! Дуже приємно! Зараз мало часу на риболовлі, але всі мої думки у вільний час як би скоріше опинитись біля води!
