Amazing fishing vibes from just two hours on the water. Hectic work schedule, unbearable urge to get out fishing… And finally, a meeting with the water. This time I didn't bring a ton of lures, just two crankbaits and a cicada! It's like placing bets in a casino… you put your money down and you win! "Came, saw, conquered")))) I caught the first pike on a Jackall MagSquad 115SP 16g in TH Hot Orange color. The crankbait was new and had never seen water before. Saw it right away and got the water, the sharp teeth, and the solid pike's jaw. The strike was eager and unexpected. On the second cast with a light "twitch" the spotted beauty took it. To say I had strong faith in this color - no. I believed more in my buddy Max Diachyk, an experienced angler - he's the one who recommended this crankbait in this exact color to me. What the pike focuses on - only it knows. Honestly, I wouldn't have paid attention to this color myself, I prefer more natural tones or acid colors (acid tones less so). So there's always room for experimentation in your arsenal. The second pike hit on a proven and beloved lure of mine - a cicada from O.S.P. Over ride 3/8 oz Ah… what a strike that was… if only I could put it into words… Believe me - it was powerful and as always, unexpected. Two hours, two lures, two fish… This autumn evening after a work day was incredibly emotional and full of surprises. Wishing everyone great autumn fishing and trophy catches!
