Brutal heat in Kyiv, the fish in the water are getting a bit picky, passive and finicky…))) But thanks to different fishing techniques, you can get even the most passive fish. The size, of course… leaves something to be desired, but there's a different kind of vibe in fishing like this and I got my fill of it. There were a LOT of false bites but I felt every single one in my hands, reacted to all of them with adrenaline… Every two false bites and I'd switch up the lure, and then it'd usually be game on. The fish now are like some kind of gourmet carefully picking through dishes, so I prepped thoroughly – played around with weights, lures, retrieve techniques… This micro jigging is really creative fishing, but exhausting… you gotta concentrate, listen, keep animating the lure constantly, change spots, but after sessions like this the fatigue ties itself into a knot as easily as a carrick bend and mixes with this amazing feeling of euphoria. And by the next day, when you're getting ready to fish again, your hand just reaches for that ultralight spinning rod and the bag with micro jig goodies… But nah… looks like I'll stick with light setups paired with metal lures and crankbaits after all… Keeping it short today 'cause it's scorching… Congrats to the winners of the Viskaart report contest!
