Description
Had a little rain this evening, wrapped up around 7 PM. Figured I'd head down to the river real quick, and wouldn't you know it—the pike were hungry 😁.
No strikes at first, then as the sun started dipping down the bites kicked in, but I couldn't land anything. Had a feeling it was some small perch, but once it got dark I managed to hook a couple decent perch back-to-back. Then something took a bite out of my lure and I called it a night.
The fish swam back home and I headed back happy as can be.
