Secret Little Stream

Photo from my first chub fishing trip in Kharkiv. Unfortunately I have to keep the location under wraps (the marked location isn't accurate) because of the always-hungry locals who are decimating the population there. Chub is my absolute favorite fish. Incredibly strong and feisty, despite their size. For some reason I used to think they only lived in the more western parts of the country, but that's totally wrong. It's very localized fishing though—the stream is only about 2-3 meters wide, some spots are barely a meter, and then you've got these wider sections that can be 5-6 meters. Our little silver fighters. Thanks for watching, and especially starting this spring in 2024 there's gonna be a lot of cool stuff with these little guys :)
