Dnieper River

Hey everyone! Went feeder fishing and man, it was pretty tough. Spent the first hour with absolutely nothing, and the other anglers next to me weren't doing any better either. So I switched it up and started fishing more aggressively, fishing the clock, and it paid off. By the third cast a fish showed up. Got some nice variety in the catches. What really impressed me was a bream at 535g — before that my personal best was maybe 300g. Caught some good roach at 300g, bream at 400-500g, but honestly I was just fishing for the love of it so I only photographed the first ones I caught. Late in the session when it started getting pretty dark, I had this really frustrating strike and an intense fight, and literally 8 meters away from me the line broke — didn't even get to see what it was. I'm pretty sure it was a nice big bream in the 3-4kg range, based on how it fought. Also somewhere toward evening I hear this crazy rustling in the leaves behind me, I stand up and see snakes crawling out from everywhere into their nest — never seen anything like that in person before. It was tough fishing, but pushing the pace got results. Watching the other anglers, they weren't catching anything at all, so I was starting to think they'd kill me since I kept pulling in fish and releasing them all 😅
