Today the catfish put on a real show of 'look but don't touch.' Bites were everywhere, tail hits left and right, nerves tingling, but they weren't in any rush to come to the net. But we did land our main trophy of the day. Turned out to have a steel character and a fight you won't forget. The key is keeping the right pace and not giving up after the first missed strikes. Decided to go trout fishing on a mountain river today. We were fishing with soft plastics, crankbaits and spoons. Unfortunately the big trout weren't biting, only the young ones, so we'll definitely be hitting up new spots and chasing some bigger fish.
