The bigger one took late evening on a 4'' fusion and put up a good fight, the other one in the morning on a 3'' vibro worm. Overall the best impressions came from around 20 gobies and perch caught on a 0.2-0.8g Chinese ultralight and whitebait crazy fishZanderSpinning fishing153😍Styr· Rivne Oblast09.05.2026, 22:18Did some prep work for catfish fishing to feel more confident when fighting them, after that last 10kg beast. Grabbed some upstream 4" double hooks with thick wire and bigger snap links. Got fluro 0.55 line and x8 0.6 PE left. The catfish bit and put up a good fight, though smaller than the last one, didn't want to go in the net for a while, but I managed to convince him. Had an awesome day. Started out hunting perch, but after one bite I noticed pike marks on the fluorocarbon. Switched to heavier fluoro and a bigger lure. Got a pike at 1.8 kg. Then I felt something massive on the other rod. Then I found a warm water spillway. Was catching small perch, had plenty of bites, but couldn't even get them to properly take the 1.8'' Polaris lure.
