We were out in Frankivsk by 5am, grabbed supplies, found some perfect fishing spots and cleared ourselves a nice spot. But like always, the place is trashed — took out a whole bag of garbage. We hadn't been here for just a week and some slob anglers already ruined it. We were back home by 8 in the morning. Tons of gnats and mosquitoes. Last time we had bigger bream, this time we were releasing half of them because they were too small. The bite was nonexistent, fish were super sluggish, just hanging on the hook barely moving—you'd only find out you had one on by accident when recasting. We were hoping for better. Fish were biting well, especially between 6-8 in the evening. Caught a bream around a kilo at 10:30 PM. GUYS IF YOU'RE FISHING AT BURSHTYN OR ANYWHERE ELSE! DON'T BE PIGS, I'M CLEANING UP AFTER OTHER PEOPLE EVERY TIME I GO - CANS, CIGARETTES, BAIT, AND ALL THAT. Channel catfish are caught very often, fun to pull in, they put up a strong fight. (Fished with friends, we followed catch limits! Got about 2.5 kg each (roughly), one rod per person, feeder rig.) Current is really strong, needed feeders around 80 grams.
