Tried casting a spinner too. Someone told me to fish where there's plenty of lilies and weeds and to fish better in the evening, so that's what I did. Not sure what the deal was, but the fish are definitely there and big ones too because I saw splashes and fish jumping out of the water. There's so much vegetation out there that practically every cast gets weeds and snags + we lost a bunch of lures because of it. Don't know how everyone else manages to catch pike there but we couldn't get anything besides weeds and grass.
