Flea market rules
The flea market is a free classifieds board for anglers. Deals are made directly between users: Viskaart is not a party to the deal, takes no payments and does not inspect items. These rules help you trade safely and fairly.

1.Safety: never pay in advance
- No prepayments, “reservations” or “deposits” — not even small ones. No listing is worth that risk.
- Pay on receipt: meet in person or use cash on delivery / the carrier’s secure-deal service. Inspect the item before paying.
- Never share card details (expiry date, CVV) or SMS codes, and don’t open “payment links”. Viskaart never sends payment links for items.
- Talk in the Viskaart chat — the conversation remains evidence if there is a dispute. Pressure to move to another messenger right away is a scam sign.
- Red flags: price far below market, urgency and pressure, refusing cash on delivery, “I’m out of town — I’ll ship after prepayment”, a fresh account with no fishing reports, stock photos.
- Sellers: don’t ship before you have been paid. Beware of “buyers” asking you to pay “insurance” or a “delivery fee”, or sending links to a “courier website”.
2.What you can sell
- Anything for fishing: rods, reels, tackle, lures, fish finders and electronics, boats and motors, clothing and footwear, tents, chairs, accessories, books.
- Used and new, swaps and giveaways are welcome.
- The item must be in your possession and belong to you.
3.What is prohibited
- Poaching gear: electrofishing devices, nets, lift nets, spears, traps, set lines and anything banned by the fishing rules of your country.
- Fish, roe, catch and other fishery products.
- Weapons, ammunition, pyrotechnics, restricted knives.
- Alcohol, tobacco, medicines, veterinary drugs.
- Counterfeits, stolen goods, items without required documents.
- Services, rentals, advertising of shops, websites or channels, fundraising.
- Anything unrelated to fishing.
4.How to write a listing
- One listing — one item or one set. No duplicates or re-posting the same item.
- Only your own photos (1–6), taken by you, so the buyer sees the real condition. No internet or catalogue photos.
- Title — what exactly you sell (brand, model, size). No CAPS LOCK, “!!!”, contacts or links.
- Honest description: condition, defects, what’s included, how long it was used. Mention flaws upfront, not in chat.
- A real price you are ready to accept. Use “Open to offers”, “Exchange” and “Free” for flexibility.
- Correct category and the actual location of the item.
- Sold it? Tap “Sold” so people stop messaging.
5.Duration and limits
- A listing stays active for 30 days. We remind you 3 days before it expires; then it goes to the archive, from where you can re-publish it.
- “Bump” to the top once every 14 days, with Premium — once every 3 days. The exact date and time of the next bump is shown on your listing.
- Without Premium: 3 listings per month, 2 active at a time, up to 10 saved items and 3 saved searches.
- With Premium: 12 listings per month, 10 active, unlimited saved items, 20 saved searches.
6.Communication
- Keep it to the point and reply to messages — even when declining.
- No insults, spam or mass messaging. Don’t offer your own items in other people’s listings.
- Don’t post other people’s contacts or personal data.
7.Moderation
- Listings that break the rules are removed without notice; the account may be restricted or blocked.
- Fraud and poaching gear mean an immediate ban with no re-registration.
- Something wrong with a listing or a user? Email us: [email protected] (link to the listing + screenshots).
8.Liability
- You are responsible for the legality of the item, the accuracy of the listing and the terms of the deal.
- Viskaart does not compensate losses from deals between users. In case of fraud contact the police — we provide available data upon an official request.
- By posting a listing or messaging a seller you accept these rules. We may update them — the current version is always here.
