У 80 роках це був пісчаний кар'єр з якого копали пісок на відбудову вул.Косіора та прилеглих вулиць.Через те що зачепили підземний істочник кар'єр став озером, зі дна не встигли вивести деяку техніку але на зараз вона замулена и навіть якщо кидати фідер не зачепиш, на дні багато сміття через людей які відпочивають на пляжі і просто г*ндонів які кидають колеса у воду і не тільки, рибу відмічав тільки ту котру там ловив та котру туди запускав місцевий депутат(Короп, амур,товстолоб) останнє штучне зариблення було у 2021 чи 2020 року( не пам'ятаю точно)
