Ясниський кар'єр
Yasnsky quarry is a reliable summer roach destination, but fall conditions deteriorate sharply. Three new October reports confirm the trend: roach become inactive, perch remain the main target, but catches drop to minimal levels even with solid preparation. Reports indicate fish shift to mid-water depths, requiring technique adaptation. Bottom fishing works but fall requires long rigs and mid-water work instead of bottom presentation.
- Plan trips for June–July for most reliable roach results; save October for spin fishing experiments and perch hunting
- Use bottom rigs with maggots and hemp groundbait in summer; switch to float rigs and paternoster setups in fall for mid-water work at 1–2 meter depths
- Three-meter rigs with foam are critical for fall fishing when fish move to mid-water; try spinnerbaits with soft plastics for perch as an alternative to bottom rigs
- Reports show crowding by day-trippers in September–October; fish early morning or weekdays for better results
